Welcome to Life Drawing in Melbourne CBD. If you’ve drawn with us before at No Vacancy Gallery (2008-2015) or Missing Persons (2016-2023) in the Nicholas Building, you’ll be pleased to know that we’ve relocated to Coates Community Arts in the Coates Building.
This year, we proudly received a Lord Mayor’s Small Business Achievement Award from the City of Melbourne, recognising our longstanding commitment to the life drawing community in Melbourne.
You can join us for weekly life drawing classes at Coates Community Arts, Suite 6, Level 4, 20 Collins Street. Check out the where page for PT and parking options.
Our Life Drawing sessions run every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7-9pm, except on public holidays. Secure your spot for $21, inclusive of art supplies. Drawing paper and materials are provided.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before 7pm to settle in. Doors open at 6:30pm, and we encourage you to arrive on time for a relaxed start.
In 2024, we offer online bookings through ‘TryBooking’. Walk-ins are also welcome, and we accept both cash and card payments.
THE LIFE DRAWING 16TH ANNIVERSARY CLASS EXHIBITION
This month, we celebrate our 16th anniversary with a special pop-up class exhibition. The exhibition will take place at Coates Community Arts. Join us at the opening event on Thursday, 14 November from 6–8pm.The exhibition continues on Friday, 15 November from 12-6pm and Saturday, 16 November from 11am-4pm.
